The Hague is located in the west of the Netherlands. It is the capital of the province of South Holland. It is also the seat of government of the Netherlands. With a metropolitan population of more than 1 million, it is the third-largest city in the Netherlands, after Amsterdam and Rotterdam.

How to go to The Hague

The Hague is easily accessible by air, train or road. Rotterdam is less than 30 kilometers from The Hague and Amsterdam approximately 60 kilometers. From The Hague you can travel to all major destinations in Europe easily (e.g. Brussels, London and Paris).

By train

The Hague has two international train stations. Trains from Hollands Spoor Station leave for Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Belgium and France. Trains for Utrecht and Germany leave from The Hague Central Station. Both train stations operate a direct service to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
